The surroundings

The farm Il Podere offers a relaxing stay and the possibility to visit some of the beautiful areas of Garfagnana, such as the village of Castelnuovo, Bagni di Lucca with its thermal baths, Barga with its artistic beauties and Mount Bargiglio where you can practise gliding and hang-gliding with the assistance of instructors. Besides you can visit the natural reserve of Orrido di Botri or, just a few kilometres from the farm, Lucca, one of the most exclusive towns of art in Tuscany.
